Christmas Sessions at Persimmon Creek Barn

I had my first-ever Christmas sessions at Persimmon Creek Barn in December, and they were a wonderful success! I hope to offer these every year going forward. We still had some leftover snow on the first day, which created an absolutely stunning backdrop — it truly felt like a winter wonderland.

I got married at Persimmon Creek Barn in October 2024, and I fell in love with this venue. Nina, the owner, was kind enough to allow me to hold sessions at the barn, and there is so much to explore there. We used the old Ford truck on the property for several shots and also wandered down by the pond to capture more images. I am so grateful to have such a beautiful spot for sessions.

One of my favorite things about Christmas sessions is how they slow us down during such a busy season; for a brief moment, families can pause, connect, and simply be together. I chose not to do “mini” sessions because I wanted these to feel more personal and unhurried. I’m deeply thankful to the couples and families who trusted me with their Christmas photos, and I can’t wait to do them again next year!
